The Investment in Our Legacy:
Your Path to a Self-Sustaining Career

Across the country, the demand for skilled birth assistants is rising. On average, a professionally trained Birth Assistant in the U.S. earns between $400–$600 per birth.
This means your certification is a self-sustaining investment.

To put that into perspective: for our Online graduates, just 4-5 births typically covers your entire tuition. For our Hybrid graduates, you can see a full return on your investment in about 10-12 births. Once you’ve crossed that bridge, your investment is more than a step forward in your career—it is a direct contribution to sustaining the legacy of community midwifery care.

Because BSBA emphasizes real-world clinical integration, many of my students find that the bridge to their career is already built before they even graduate. Most students who complete their clinicals under a midwifery preceptor naturally transition into a paid birth assistant role with that same practice upon certification. In this academy, you aren’t just learning theory;
I am positioning you for your future career at the bedside.
To further accelerate your reach, every BSBA graduate is featured in our National Birth Assistant Directory. This ensures that whether you are growing with your current preceptor or seeking new professional partnerships, community midwives can easily verify the clinical precision they need.
Together, we will show and prove that BIRTH: It's What We DO.

"I was hired as an assistant before I even completed the program. Midwife Christina gave me the confidence that I needed to go out in this field and be confident in my skill set."
